Meet the founders
Sister and brother from the Gold Coast. We're building Caduno because we needed it ourselves.
I'm nearly finished my architecture degree, and I work on the design side of building projects. People ask me all the time if I know a good tradie. Most of the time I didn't have a great answer for them.
I've been on the tools for over eight years. Some months you're flat out. Other months the phone barely rings. I've tried the ads and the lead sites, and too often I paid for jobs that weren't worth the drive.
Our story
We kept having the same conversation. Marina's friends and clients needed someone good, and didn't know who to call. Brane knew plenty of good tradies who needed more work. Both sides were looking for each other, with nowhere to meet in the middle.
Word of mouth has always been how good tradies get found. A mate tells a mate. But it only reaches so far, and it's hard for a newer or smaller business to break into it.
So we started Caduno. It's word of mouth, just easier to pass on.
What we're building
Small businesses keep every suburb going. We want Caduno to help them grow, and help the people around them find them.
