Caduno Waitlist and Early Access Terms
Effective date: 4 November 2026 Version: 2.1 Applies to: the Caduno early access waitlist, early access offers, the Founding Spotlight, the Founding 250 wall, and any surveys, interviews or pre-release testing you take part in before Launch Replaces: the waitlist parts of the Caduno Terms of Service version 1.2 (18 October 2026)
Summary
This summary gives you the key points. The full terms below are the agreement between you and us.
- These terms are only for the waitlist. They are not the terms for the Caduno app. The app isn't live yet, and it will have its own Terms of Service that you'll need to accept before you use it.
- The waitlist is free. Joining doesn't commit you to buying anything, and you can leave at any time.
- Launch isn't guaranteed. We are working hard to launch, but we can't promise a date, or that we'll launch in your area.
- Early access offers are explained in section 7 and Schedule 1. A "lifetime" or "founding member" discount lasts as long as your paid subscription stays active.
- The Founding Spotlight and the Founding 250 wall are free and optional. Their rules are in Schedules 2 and 3.
- Emails: the waitlist works by email. News, surveys and texts are optional and separate. You can unsubscribe at any time (see section 10 and our Email and Text Message Policy).
- Your data is handled under our Privacy Policy. We never sell it.
- Your consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything in these terms.
- Queensland law applies. We are based on the Gold Coast.

1. About these terms
These Waitlist and Early Access Terms ("Waitlist Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Marina Ukalovic, a sole trader (ABN 60 945 088 336), trading as Caduno ("Caduno", "we", "us", "our"), based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
They set out the rules for joining and staying on the Caduno early access waitlist, and for the offers, promotions and testing connected to it.
How these terms fit with our other documents:
| Document | What it covers |
|---|---|
| These Waitlist Terms | The Waitlist, Early Access Offers, the Founding Spotlight, the Founding 250 wall and pre-release testing |
| Website Terms of Use | Using cadunoapp.com |
| Privacy Policy | How we handle personal information |
| Collection Notice | What we tell you when you join the Waitlist |
| Email and Text Message Policy | What we send, how we get your consent and how to unsubscribe |
| Caduno app Terms of Service | The Caduno app and any paid plan. Not in effect yet. They will be published before Launch, and you'll accept them separately before you use the app |
Our business structure: Caduno currently operates as a sole trader business. We are setting up a company to run Caduno and will do so as soon as possible. When the company is registered, these Waitlist Terms, the Waitlist, any Early Access Offer you have validly claimed, and our rights and obligations under these Waitlist Terms will transfer to that company. Your rights under these Waitlist Terms won't be reduced by the transfer. We will update these Waitlist Terms with the company's name and ACN, and email Waitlist members to let them know.
Caduno is being built as an Australian platform that connects homeowners with trusted local trade businesses, and helps those businesses manage their work. The Caduno app is not available yet. When it launches, the app's own Terms of Service and privacy policy, not these Waitlist Terms, will apply to your use of the app and any Paid Plan.
2. Definitions
In these Waitlist Terms:
- Australian Consumer Law means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and the equivalent laws of each state and territory.
- Early Access Offer means any offer we make to Waitlist members, such as a free first month or a founding member discount, including the offer in Schedule 1.
- Launch means the date we make the Caduno app generally available to paying customers in at least one area.
- Paid Plan means a paid Caduno subscription plan offered after Launch.
- Pre-release Version means any test, beta, preview or early version of Caduno that we invite you to try before Launch.
- Privacy Policy means our privacy policy at /privacy, as updated from time to time.
- Waitlist means our list of people and businesses who have registered interest in Caduno.
- Website means cadunoapp.com and any related pages and forms.
- You means the person joining the Waitlist and, where you sign up for a business, that business too.
3. Accepting these terms
You accept these Waitlist Terms when you tick the box on the waitlist form at cadunoapp.com/join to say you agree, and then join. We keep a record of the version you agreed to and when.
If you don't agree, please don't join the Waitlist.
If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these Waitlist Terms for that business, and both you and the business are bound by them.
Agreeing to these Waitlist Terms is separate from agreeing to receive messages from us. Section 10 explains your choices.
4. Who can join
To join the Waitlist, you must:
- be 18 or older
- be able to enter into a legally binding agreement
- live or operate a business in Australia, or be genuinely interested in using Caduno in Australia
- not have been removed from the Waitlist by us before (see section 18)
Each person may sign up once. Each business may sign up once, although a business may add other contacts later if we allow it.
5. What the Waitlist is, and isn't
5.1 What joining gives you
Joining the Waitlist:
- records your interest in Caduno
- lets us contact you about your place, Launch, early access and invitations to test
- may make you eligible for an Early Access Offer, if one is available and you meet its conditions
- helps us decide which trades, team sizes and areas to launch in first
5.2 What joining doesn't do
Joining the Waitlist:
- is free, and doesn't commit you to buy a Paid Plan or anything else
- doesn't create a Caduno account or give you access to the app
- doesn't guarantee a place in any test or early release
- doesn't guarantee that Caduno will launch, that it will launch in your area, or that it will launch by a particular date
- doesn't guarantee that any particular feature, trade category or price will be available at Launch
- doesn't create any partnership, employment, agency or joint venture between you and us
5.3 Your position on the Waitlist
We may invite people from the Waitlist in stages, for example by area, trade or team size, to make sure the platform works well. Your position on the Waitlist doesn't entitle you to be invited before anyone else, unless an Early Access Offer says so.
6. Your waitlist details
You agree that:
- the information you give us is true, accurate and up to date
- you will tell us if it changes, for example a new email address
- you have the right to give it to us
- you won't sign up using someone else's details without their permission
- you won't use fake, temporary or automated sign-ups
We may check that the information you give us is genuine, for example that a business name or ABN is real, before confirming eligibility for an Early Access Offer.
7. Early Access Offers
7.1 General rules
From time to time we may make Early Access Offers to Waitlist members. Schedule 1 sets out the offer that applies at the date of these Waitlist Terms. Unless we tell you otherwise in writing when we make an offer, every Early Access Offer is subject to these rules:
- Eligibility: only Waitlist members who meet the offer's conditions can claim it.
- Claim period: an offer must be claimed within the period we state. If we don't state one, it must be claimed within 30 days of the date we invite you to subscribe.
- Limited places: where an offer is limited to a number of places (for example, "the first 250 businesses"), places are given in the order eligible businesses start a Paid Plan, not the order they joined the Waitlist. When all places are taken, the offer closes.
- One per business: each business can claim each offer once, regardless of how many people from that business are on the Waitlist.
- No cash value: offers can't be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold or combined with other offers or discounts unless we say so.
- Final details at sign-up: the final prices, plan features and offer details will be shown to you before you subscribe. The Paid Plan will be governed by the Caduno app Terms of Service, which you'll accept at that point.
7.2 "Lifetime" and "founding member" discounts
If an offer includes a "lifetime", "for life" or "founding member" discount:
- the discount applies for as long as your Paid Plan subscription stays continuously active and paid
- it is a percentage off the standard price of your plan at the time each payment is made, unless we state a fixed price
- it applies to the plan you start on and, if you change plans, to the new plan, unless we tell you otherwise when you change
- it ends permanently if you cancel your subscription, if your subscription lapses because payment fails and isn't fixed within the grace period in the app Terms of Service, or if your subscription is ended for breach of the app Terms of Service
- it ends if the business that claimed it is sold or transferred, unless we agree in writing that it can continue
- "lifetime" refers to the life of your subscription, not your lifetime or the lifetime of your business
If we ever stop offering Caduno altogether, the discount ends when the service ends.
7.3 Free periods
If an offer includes a free period, such as a free first month:
- the free period starts on the day you start the Paid Plan
- we will tell you the date your first payment will be taken before the free period ends
- you can cancel before the free period ends and you won't be charged
- each business can receive a free period once
7.4 Our right to refuse or remove an offer
We may refuse, cancel or remove an Early Access Offer if we reasonably believe it has been claimed through:
- fake, duplicate or misleading sign-ups
- false business details
- any other abuse of the offer or breach of these Waitlist Terms
We will tell you if we do this, and you can contact us if you think we have made a mistake.
7.5 Changing or ending offers
We may change or end an Early Access Offer before you claim it, for example if our plans or prices change before Launch. We won't take away an offer you have already validly claimed and are receiving, except as these Waitlist Terms allow.
8. Feedback, surveys, interviews and testing
We may invite you to help shape Caduno by:
- completing surveys
- taking part in interviews or calls
- testing Pre-release Versions
Taking part is always optional. Saying no won't affect your place on the Waitlist or any Early Access Offer.
We will only record an interview or testing session with your permission, and we will tell you how the recording will be used before we start. If we offer a thank-you gift for taking part, we will tell you the details beforehand.
9. Pre-release and test versions
If we invite you to test a Pre-release Version of Caduno:
- it is for testing only. It may contain errors, change without notice, lose data, or stop working
- don't rely on it for real work, for example for real quotes, contracts or invoices, unless we tell you in writing that a feature is ready for that use
- you agree to use it only for testing and giving us feedback
- you agree to keep anything we tell you is confidential (such as unreleased features, designs or prices) private, and not to share screenshots or recordings publicly without our permission
- we may ask you to accept additional testing terms before you start. If they conflict with these Waitlist Terms, the testing terms apply to the Pre-release Version
- we may end your access to a Pre-release Version at any time
Pre-release Versions are provided free and "as is", subject to section 13 (Australian Consumer Law).
10. Messages from us
10.1 Your choices when you join
The waitlist form asks for your consent to messages separately from your agreement to these Waitlist Terms:
| Type of message | What it covers | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Waitlist emails | Confirming your place, Launch dates and areas, your early access invitation, any Early Access Offer you may qualify for, and important changes to these Waitlist Terms or our Privacy Policy | Needed to join, because the Waitlist works by email. You can unsubscribe at any time, but we then can't send you your invitation |
| News, surveys and testing | Caduno news and product updates, surveys, and invitations to interviews or testing | Optional. Unticked unless you tick it |
| Text messages | Short launch updates by text, if you give us your mobile number | Optional. Unticked unless you tick it |
We only send the messages you have agreed to. Our Email and Text Message Policy explains how we comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
10.2 Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge, by:
- clicking Unsubscribe in any email
- replying STOP to any text message
- emailing hello@cadunoapp.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line
We act on unsubscribe requests straight away, and always within 5 working days. Unsubscribing doesn't remove you from the Waitlist unless you ask us to (see section 17), but we won't be able to send you your early access invitation or any offer by email.
10.3 Notices
You agree that we can give you notices under these Waitlist Terms electronically, by email to the address you gave us or by posting them on the Website, as permitted by the Electronic Transactions (Queensland) Act 2001 (Qld). If you have unsubscribed, we may still send you a message the law requires, for example about a data breach that affects you.
11. Your feedback and ideas
If you give us feedback, suggestions, ideas or comments about Caduno ("Feedback"), including in surveys, interviews or testing:
- you give us a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, change and build on that Feedback for any purpose, including improving Caduno
- we don't have to pay you, credit you or keep your Feedback confidential, although we will never publish it with your name attached without your permission
- you confirm that your Feedback doesn't include anyone else's confidential information or intellectual property
This doesn't apply to your personal information, which is handled under our Privacy Policy.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy and Collection Notice explain how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information. We never sell your personal information.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Waitlist Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law, that can't lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified ("Non-Excludable Rights").
If we are liable for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability is limited, to the extent the law allows, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Every other part of these Waitlist Terms is subject to this section.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 13:
- the Waitlist and any Pre-release Version are provided free and "as is" and "as available"
- we don't make any promise that Caduno will launch, or that it will meet your needs when it does
- we exclude all warranties, representations and conditions that aren't expressly set out in these Waitlist Terms
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 13:
- we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, data or goodwill, arising from or connected with the Waitlist, any Early Access Offer before you start a Paid Plan, the Founding Spotlight, the Founding 250 wall, or any Pre-release Version
- our total liability to you for all claims arising from or connected with those things is limited to A$100
- our liability is reduced to the extent any loss is caused or contributed to by you, or by your breach of these Waitlist Terms
These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, including Non-Excludable Rights, or to loss caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.
16. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for loss we suffer that is reasonably foreseeable and caused by:
- your fraud, or wilful or unlawful conduct
- your deliberate misuse of the Waitlist, an Early Access Offer, the Founding Spotlight or the Founding 250 wall, or
- your breach of the confidentiality obligations in section 9
Your responsibility is reduced to the extent our own breach or negligence caused or contributed to the loss.
17. Leaving the Waitlist
You can leave the Waitlist at any time, for any reason, by emailing hello@cadunoapp.com with "Leave the waitlist" or "Privacy request: delete" in the subject line, from the email address you signed up with.
When you leave, you will no longer be eligible for any Early Access Offer you haven't already claimed, we take down any Founding 250 wall listing, and you leave the Founding Spotlight. We delete your personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy.
18. Removing you from the Waitlist
We may remove you from the Waitlist, cancel any unclaimed Early Access Offer, or remove you from the Founding Spotlight or the Founding 250 wall if:
- you breach these Waitlist Terms
- you give false, misleading or duplicate information
- we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or misuse
- the law requires it
Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
19. Changing or closing the Waitlist
We may change how the Waitlist works, pause it, or close it at any time, for example when Caduno launches or if we decide not to launch.
If we close the Waitlist before Launch, we will tell Waitlist members by email and explain what happens to their information under our Privacy Policy.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these Waitlist Terms, for example to reflect changes to the Waitlist, Early Access Offers or the law.
- We will post the updated Waitlist Terms on this page with a new effective date and version number, and keep earlier versions available on request.
- If a change significantly affects you, we will email Waitlist members at least 14 days before it takes effect.
- If you don't agree with a change, you can leave the Waitlist before it takes effect.
- A change won't reduce an Early Access Offer you have already validly claimed.
21. Disputes
If you have a concern or dispute about these Waitlist Terms or the Waitlist:
- Tell us first. Email hello@cadunoapp.com with "Dispute" in the subject line and a description of the issue and the outcome you want.
- We will try to resolve it. We will respond within 10 working days and work with you in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
- Mediation: if we can't resolve it together, either of us may suggest mediation by an independent mediator in Queensland before going to court. Each party pays its own costs and shares the mediator's costs equally, unless agreed otherwise.
Nothing in this section stops either of us seeking urgent relief from a court, or stops you contacting a consumer protection agency such as the Office of Fair Trading Queensland or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, or making a privacy complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Waitlist Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that can hear appeals from them.
23. General terms
- Entire agreement: these Waitlist Terms, our Privacy Policy and the details of any Early Access Offer we give you in writing are the entire agreement between you and us about the Waitlist. Your use of the Website itself is covered by our Website Terms of Use.
- Order of priority: if there is a conflict, the written details of a specific Early Access Offer take priority over Schedule 1, the Schedules take priority over the rest of these Waitlist Terms, and these Waitlist Terms take priority over the Website Terms of Use for anything about the Waitlist.
- Severability: if any part of these Waitlist Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down to the extent needed, or removed, and the rest continues to apply.
- No waiver: if we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment: you can't transfer your rights under these Waitlist Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a related entity, the company we are setting up to run Caduno (see section 1), or a buyer of the Caduno business, if your rights aren't reduced. You agree to this transfer now, so we don't need to ask you again. We will tell you when it happens.
- Events beyond our control: we aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, outages of internet or service providers, or government action.
- Survival: sections 11, 13, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 continue to apply after you leave the Waitlist or the Waitlist closes.
- Headings and examples: headings and summaries are for convenience only. Words such as "including" and "for example" don't limit what comes before them.

Schedule 1: Current early access offer
Offer name: Caduno Founding Members Offered from: 15 October 2026 until all places are taken or we close the offer, whichever comes first
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| Who can claim it | Trade businesses on the Waitlist who start a Paid Plan within 30 days of being invited to subscribe |
| Free first month | On a monthly Paid Plan, your first month is free. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged. The free month doesn't apply to annual plans |
| Founding member discount | 15% off the standard price of your Paid Plan, for as long as your subscription stays continuously active and paid (see section 7.2) |
| Number of places | The first 250 eligible businesses to start a Paid Plan |
| Reserved launch spots | The first 250 trade businesses to join the Waitlist each hold a numbered launch spot, in the order they joined. We'll invite them to subscribe before other trade businesses in the same Launch area. A launch spot gives you an early invitation. It doesn't guarantee the founding member offer, which goes to the first 250 eligible businesses to start a Paid Plan. You lose your launch spot if you leave the Waitlist, and we may remove it from any entry that is fake, a duplicate or not a genuine trade business |
| Annual plans | If you choose annual billing, the 15% discount applies to the annual price instead of a free month |
| Prices | Launch pricing will be announced before Launch and confirmed before you subscribe |
| Limits | One offer per business. Not transferable, not redeemable for cash, and can't be combined with other offers |
| Ending the discount | The discount ends permanently if you cancel, your subscription lapses, or your account is ended for breach of the app Terms of Service |
If any detail of this offer changes before you claim it, we will tell you before you subscribe.
Schedule 2: Founding Spotlight
What it is: a free referral challenge for trade businesses on the Waitlist. The 10 trade businesses that bring the most other trade businesses onto the Waitlist are featured in the Caduno app when it launches. It is decided only by the number of counted referrals. There is no element of chance, no draw and no entry fee.
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| Who runs it | Caduno (see section 1) |
| Who can take part | Trade businesses on the Waitlist. Customers can share Caduno too, but only trade businesses can be featured |
| Cost | Free. No purchase or subscription is needed to take part |
| When it runs | It opens on the day we email Waitlist members to say invite links are live, and closes at 11:59 pm (Queensland time) on the day before Launch. Only referrals made while it's open count |
| How a referral counts | Another trade business joins the Waitlist using your personal invite link or code and confirms its email address. Each trade business can only be counted once |
| How you share | You share your own link or code yourself, for example in person, on social media or in your own messages. Only share it with people who would expect to hear from you. We never send messages to the people you invite unless they join and agree to hear from us |
| What doesn't count | Referring yourself or a business you already run, duplicate or fake sign-ups, and anything we reasonably believe is not a genuine referral. We may remove referrals like these and, in serious cases, remove you from the Spotlight |
| Ranking | By number of counted referrals, worked out automatically from our records. If two businesses have the same number, the one that joined the Waitlist first ranks higher. You can ask us to check your count |
| What the top 10 get | Featured as a "Spotlight" business in the Caduno app for 4 weeks from Launch, at no cost |
| To be featured | You need an active Caduno account at Launch and the licences and insurance your work requires. If you don't, the next business in the ranking takes your place |
| Telling the winners | We'll email the top 10 before Launch. With your permission, we may name you on our website and social media |
| Limits | The Spotlight is a promotional feature. It doesn't guarantee any number of views, enquiries or jobs, has no cash value and can't be transferred or swapped |
| If Launch changes | If Launch is delayed, the Spotlight moves with it. If we don't launch, the Spotlight doesn't go ahead (see section 5.2) |
| Your information | We handle referral details under our Privacy Policy and only share a new member's first name with the person who invited them |
We may change or end the Spotlight before it opens. Once it's open, we won't change it in a way that disadvantages people taking part, unless the law requires it.
Schedule 3: Founding 250 wall
What it is: a page on our website, and a strip on our home page, that shows founding trade businesses.
| Term | Detail |
|---|---|
| Who can be shown | Founding member trade businesses (Schedule 1) who ask to be shown |
| Cost | Free |
| What we show | Only what you choose to give us for the wall, such as your business name, trades, suburb and logo. We never show it unless you say yes |
| Your content | You confirm you're allowed to use the business name and any logo you give us, and you let us show them on the wall until you ask us to stop |
| Taking it down | Email hello@cadunoapp.com and we'll remove your listing. We also remove it if you leave the Waitlist |
| Our choices | We may decline or remove a listing that is misleading, offensive or isn't a real trade business, and we may change or close the wall |
| Not an endorsement | Being on the wall doesn't mean we've checked or recommend a business |
| Until listings start | Places on the wall are shown as open spots until founding businesses ask to be listed |
